Baptism at Igreja Paroquial - Pinho, followed by lunch in Termas
We appreciate we’re asking most people to travel to the other side of the world, so we understand the ask is a pretty big one, we just want you to know you’re invited.
The Day
Will consist of the baptism service at the local church, Igreja Paroquial – Pinho, in the village where Hélio spent his early years. Followed by a sit-down lunch (catered by us) in a neighbourhood called Termas, in São Pedro do Sul, the closest town to Pinho (5km away), Hotel Vouga – Termas de São Pedro do Sul. Once we know the numbers we can help sort any transport that may be required to the church and to the lunch venue etc. We can also steer people in the right direction for accommodation.
Location
Pinho is approximately 1.5hrs from Porto and 3.5hrs from Lisbon.
There are local coaches that can get you from these cities to Viseu, which is the biggest city close to Pinho & São Pedro do Sul, approximately 20-30min away. We can help with some transport from Viseu to São Pedro do Sul / Pinho.

Will be w/c 10th July – w/c 31st July (3-4weeks)
What's on and Things to do
From late July it’s festas / festival season. Local villages have these on different weeks and for varying lengths, we will update this site with some key dates once we know them.
